Introduction to Photoshop
Adjustment layers in Photoshop are essential tools for non-destructive editing, allowing you to tweak color and tone without permanently altering your image. You can easily modify or remove adjustments at any time, making them ideal for a flexible, efficient workflow. When you add an adjustment layer, it appears above your image with properties panel that lets you control the effect.

Common Adjustment Layers
  1. Brightness/Contrast: Quickly tweak the overall light and dark areas.
  2. Levels: Adjust highlights, midtones, and shadows for better balance.
  3. Curves: Fine tune tones across the entire image with precise control points.
  4. Exposure: Adjust exposure using sliders for light, offset, and gamma.
  5. Selective Color: Change specific primary colors without affecting others.
Filters for Creative Effects
Photoshop also offers a wide range of filters to enhance, blur, or completely transform images. Filters are a key part of Photoshop's creative toolkit and can be layered for dramatic, artistic results.
