Title: Echoes of Celebration
Summary and Thoughts:
I was really focused on making the animation feel alive, but in a way that wasn't too overwhelming. I kept coming back to this idea of a moving frame, something playful that could dance around the main character and keep the viewer engaged throughout the 15 second loop.
I also thought a lot about how culture moves, how it's passed down, remembered, and celebrated. That's where the traditional patterns and festive details came in. As the movement happens, I wanted these elements to slowly come to life, like the space was at a celebration. It wasn't about flashy animation, it was more about a gentle kind of energy.
The patterns around the figure became really symbolic for me, and frankly my favorite part of the composition. I wanted them to feel like they were protecting the person, but also giving the scene a subtle sense of movement and rhythm.
Color was another thing I obsessed over. I wanted the palette to feel warm and inviting, with a cool tone, something that doesn't scream modern but still feels fresh and alive. Purple is also my favorite color, so I wanted to try and bring that into this project.
