Practical

This week I organized all layers in Photoshop to make the transfer to After Effects easier. I layered the background, placed the central character, and added the decorative frame elements.

The challenge here was to keep it visually rich without it getting cluttered. I used soft movements and slight parallax to give the composition depth. I have previous experience with After Effect from my Illustration and Visual Narrative module, so the movements were good, but it was a while so I did have to look up the powerpoint our teacher provided on that.
